Who is the artist that sings, So Much To Thank Him For. I beleive it is one of the greatest songs ever written.
where can I find music for this song?
It seems that the phrase "Salami, Salami, Boloney..." has been used on more than one episode of Popeye... It was also on "Pop-Pie a la Mode" which is o the list of banned cartoons for racist overtones... I personally just saw that cartoon today for the first time thanks to youtube. I remember the phrase from the Alladdin episode myself ad I say it al the time like many of you.... certain things from our childhood really permeate our adult thinking... Like all of Schoolhouse Rock, "Salami Baloney", and "Is you is or is you ain't my baby..." another classic
The episode everyone is looking for, "Alladin and his Wonderful Lamp," is on Netflix Instant Watch If you were all wondering. I've had that in my head all morning, Google'd it, and found it on my Netflix.
The cartoon your all talking about was created in 1939 and was called: Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp. It is available for viewing in three parts, the quote is in #2 of 3.
Type the query; which Popeye cartoon has the phrase: salami, salami, bologna and hit enter. Then choose, You Tube - Popeye - Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp (1939) 2/3.
But for some reason I also seem to remember it in another toon with an African connotation. But I could be mistaken. Cause I can't find it! lol
Enjoy!
Let me know if anyone else remembers another one!
Oh and that link says it's not available anymore :'(.. WAH!
OMG That's Crazy! I always google that episode and never know what to type in!!!! I say Salami Salami Baloni ALLLL the time!!!!
I remember Olive Oil was the princess and Popeye was acting kinda like Aladdin! He rode in on a camel and brought her gifts! And he was taken up to her room, and when he had to leave, he bowed saying that! It was freakin' hilarious!!!! I had the vhs when I was a kid!!! I just turned 30 this month, and I've been saying this since I was young! LOL
I know this is old and no one has posted in a while, but I feel like I have to, I am thirteen and my dad left when I was four, seperating me from that side of the family. Last year my grandpa died. He was my best friend. And now the woman left, my grandma, has cancer. I dont know what to do. I cant loose another one.
I just lost my grandpa a little over a month ago. It still feels surreal...so fake...and so unfair. I cried when I read this. I'm 18, and I really wish I had spent more time with him, instead of wasting it on other, pointless things. Especially since now everything feels pointless...He always supported me too; he was the only one of my family members that did...I really...miss him.
